Our Hall

The Christ Church Parish Hall is located behind Christ Church. The street address of the main entrance is 61 Dundas Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The bottom floor is level with the lower parking area and there is ramped exterior wheelchair access to the second floor. 

In addition to the large halls, the parish building has individual rooms available for use. Please call the parish office for more information. 

Upper Hall

The Upper Hall consists of a large hall, a washroom, and the stage. The third floor balcony opens to the main hall on two sides. This space has been used for everything from town hall meetings to martial arts classes to weddings and more. 

Lower Hall

The Lower Hall contains the hall itself (with tables and chairs available), a full commercial kitchen and two washrooms.

The Sanctuary

The main sanctuary of the church has been through many changes since construction began in 1817. We now offer accessible, movable seating at the front, a PA and audio-visual recording system, as well as a grand piano and a Casavant-designed organ and the acoustics to do both justice. The church is regularly used for concerts and recitals, as well as debates and presentations.
